is special in many ways, first of all, is the first French gin inspired by Cape Route which makes Bartolomeo a very European gin and highly classic liquor. Bartolomeo flavor is unique while is strong is also sweet and with a touch of dryness as any gin it should be, its remarkable herbal flavor enriched your drink in a magical way. Don't spect a heavy gin, Bartolomeo is light and soft with a strong sharp taste. Its aroma is intoxicated and pleasant, you want to inhale it again and again, and again. Ginger, coriander, melegueta pepper, angelica root, cardamon are the main ingredients in Bartolomeo making it a very aromatic gin that penetrate your senses. Variety is the word to describe it when it comes to mixing it, however, on the rocks or neat with one solitary ice cube are two additional ways to taste it better to get to know the authentic flavor. The bottle is made out blue glass wich represents the ocean where the clean, transparent, and blue waters of Cape Route are. The name Bartolomeo is a tribute to the Portuguese navigator Bartolomeu Dias (Bartolomeo in French) who was the first navigator to double the Cape of Good Hope opening afterward the Cape Route and spice trade by sea.
