It is easy to say 50 years is not so easy to actually successfully accomplish them.
The Jewish Community Relations Council of New York accomplished that, and their 50th Anniversary took place on May 11th at the legendary and majestic
Plaza Hotel in NYC.
The Golden Jubilee celebration was highly important for Jewish community and their members making history across the country for being one of the oldest organizations dedicated to aid, encourage, save, dignify, and help Jewish
in New York. The JCRC 50th Anniversary was a well done special occasion where guests enjoyed a pleasant cocktail reception featured passing hors d'oeuvres, buffet
style delicious Sushi, Avocado tacos, all kind of Mexican salsas and chips, meat cuts, dumplings, top shelf open bar, and more. Of course there was a Step-and-Repeat for those who wanted to have their picture taken. This reception took place on the first floor right after crossing the lobby at
The Palm Court
this elegant space inside of The Plaza Hotel, has three levels in the first one a a full bar, and two food stations, seating area and tables were placed. Crossing the tall and fully decorated doors there were four food stations armed with friendly servers. On the next and last level to the left side was an informative display of JCRC history and missions. On the right side a full bar with friendly bartenders were there making sure everyone has a drink in their hands. The food was displayed on a large tables with easy access to it buffet style, New York City style featuring a variety of cuisine. Tables were in the middle for guests to enjoy the buffet. The energy in the room was great and golden!!! attendees were happy and joyful to be part of this celebration which marked and underline Jewish community is still stand regardless the
political conflicts around the world. The cocktail reception was indeed a successful one where guest truly enjoyed themselves having drinks and pleasant conversations with their peers.
The reception followed by the program which took
place at the Ballroom bright and luxurious as always. Coffee and desert were served during the program, guests took a bit longer to place themselves inside of the ballroom since were having such a good time at the cocktail reception. When everyone was seated the always charming

showing a short video. Mr. Treyger surprised everyone by announcing the presence of New York State Governor
Kathy Hochul
who was the subject of a long ovation.
Gov. Hochul shared her gratitude to be there and be part of the memorable celebration. She also expressed her disapproval of the current political conflicts
and hatred that results in a nonsense war against Jewish. Making a clear statement that she is with the Jewish community supporting them sincerely.

was called to the stage to be honored with the Blumberg Family Young Leadership Award. Dressed in an elegant yellow dress she made her way to the stage with her young and handsome son who changed his mind and returned to the table. Ms. Weiss gave an explicit speech with gratitude and humbleness. Happy to be honored in such

Miss Tish was blissful to be
part of the celebration congratulating JCRC for its remarkable accomplishments during all these years. She also shared some aspects about her mother who has
been a significant influence on her.
JCRC CEO-NY Mark Treyer closed the
program not before thank to all sponsors, attendees, JCRC staff, and the honorees
for making the 50th Anniversary possible.
