​JCRC-NY's 2022 Spring Gala

On June 14th 2022 for the first time in several years the JCRC NY Gala took place at the world famous
Plaza Hotel in Midtown Manhattan.
This year the gala was in
different fashion than previous years. The amazing evening started with a cocktail reception and buffet including Sushi, Paella, meat cuts, pasta, rice and more no to
mention the top-shelf open bar. After the cocktail/buffet hour the program followed, theater style seating, announcing the awardees for this year which were:
Cheryl Fishbein who received the JCRC NY Leadership Award, she is the President
of JCRC NY. Also Barbara and Ira A. Lipman Community Security Award was
given to Kirsh Foundation, Linda Mirels accepted on behalf of the Foundation and
Eric Rechtschaffen, Board Member of JCRC NY.

awarded with the Blumberg Family Young Leadership Award, presented by Tom Blumberg.
Linda Mirels who, on behalf of The Kirsh Foundation, accepted the Barbara and Ira A. Lipman Community Security Award.
After the presentation a
dessert buffet reception followed with delicious chocolate cakes, cookies,
strawberry, lemon pie coffee and more.
The new buffet style was a huge success attendees enjoyed the casual seating which was an invitation to interacted with
each other and network in a friendly setting. The evening was without doubt a night to shine, guests were showing grace and elegance all away.
The JCRC (Jewish Community Relations Council) combines keeping Jewish
community together while the council is also maintaining an strong and healthy
relationship with local government representative in benefit of the Jewish people
living in New York. The Council also plays an important role participating and
communicating directly to members of JCRC to make sure the Jewish community
is well informed on what is happening in NYC, growing together and getting
strong together every year. As our society is changing all the time and new affairs
comes and goes as well as relevant events in New York and, in the country, the
Council is constantly keeping track of getting the latest information in order to
bring up-to-date the Jewish Community in New York.
