At the New York City’s famed Plaza Hotel, The New York Foundling—one of the city’s oldest and largest social service providers—held its 150th Anniversary Gala celebrating a storied legacy of helping children, adults and families to create transformational change in their own lives, raising over $1 Million that will go towards the organization’s ongoing programming. As part of the evening’s festivities, the organization honored long-time New York Foundling supporter, philanthropist and President and CEO of TD Bank, Gregory B. Braca for his tireless devotion to community service and support.
The culmination of a year-long celebration of this prestigious milestone, the gala paid tribute to The Foundling’s historic beginnings, commemorate the long-lasting impact of the organization’s work with children, adults, and families over the past 150 years, and celebrate the life-changing services provided by the organization today.
