This week, New York City’s Metropolitan Pavilion hosted a delightful exposition featuring the rich world of baby and kids wear. The hall was buzzing, filled with brands from across the industry conducting business with United States wholesale buyers. Brightly colored and patterned racks of clothing greeted guests at the door, beckoning us to take a closer look at what this season was bringing to the table.
Some names were quite established like Camper, while others were just beginning to make a name for themselves in the US market including sustainable clothing brand Mon Couer, adorable UK based dress maker Eirene, savvy Hey Kid! , and Greece’s Poupée.
Also featured in the weekend show was a large collection of Colombian designers, many of whom were able to bring their goods to the United States for the first time during this global crisis. Toy brand Ukulele features whimsical interpretations of many types of animals fit to adorn any sweet nursery, and was beautifully presented in their sprawling display.
Other brands like Republic of Pigtails and Bows Arts dominated the accessories section, and really stood out with their adorable kids bows and hair accessories. They included sweet rabbits and funky fresh flamingos, sure to please any discerning tot.
There were many other unique players out there sure to be coming to a store near you. Please check out the gallery below for a good glimpse into the show's plentiful offerings and brands present.
